The Conference on the Gaming Industry in Spain will analyse Online Gaming in Spain during ICE Totally Gaming in London

The Conference on the Gaming Industry in Spain will be held finally at London’s ExCel fair venue, in the South Gallery (Rooms 3/4), on the second day of ICE Totally Gaming, after consulting firm JAK Comunicación, the event organiser, reached an agreement with Clarion, the entity responsible for the London fair.
The conference will be presented by Marcos Ríos (Senior Manager Indirect tax/ gambling taxation at Deloitte Abogados), and the opening address will be given by José Antonio Zamora, Economic and Commercial Counsellor at the Spanish Trade Commission in the United Kingdom, and by Enrique Alejo, Director General of Gaming Regulation for the Spanish Ministry of Treasury and Public Administrations.
The programme is comprised of three blocks:
- “Spanish Regulatory Model”, a panel moderated by Norman Heckh (Director – Head of IT/C, Privacy and Gambling at Deloitte Abogados), with the participation of Carlos Hernández (Assistant Director General of Gaming Regulation for the Directorate General of Gaming) and Jaime Estalella (COO Europe at Codere), Eduardo Antoja (Chairman of the EJOA) and Miguel Ángel Ferrer Jiménez (Advisor for Institutional Matters at JDigital).
- “Spanish Online Gaming Market: The Operators’ View”. On this panel, several operators with licences in Spain will offer their point of view on how the online gaming business is doing in Spain. It will be moderated by Mauro De Fabritiis (Director of International Development at MAG Consulenti Associati), with the participation of Jacob Curciel (Chief Information Officer Stan James Plc), Sonia Carabante (eGaming General Manager at Cirsa) and Eddie Morales (COO WINGA Spain at Buongiorno).
- “Online Gaming Service Providers in Spain”, a roundtable discussion led by Aurora Merino (Business Development Manager at GLI Europe), with the participation of Ingvar Hjalmarsson (Chief Commercial Officer at Betware), Mario Benito (Director of Operations for Spain at NetRefer), Ángel Gallego (Director of the Casinos Division at Metronia) and Jonathan Chamma (Spain Operations Director at Playtech)
